International Organic Excitonic Solar Cells Conference

Hear from ASI-supported organic solar researchers at the International Organic Excitonic Solar Cells Conference at Coolum Beach, Queensland from 3-7 September, 2012.

The conference includes a ASI session on Wednesday 5 September from 10.40am – 12.40am with presentations from researchers supported by ASI from the University of Queensland, the University of Melbourne, Monash University and CSIRO.

The Australian Innovation Challenge awards

Opportunities exist for solar researchers to apply for The Australian Innovation Challenge awards, which aim to find game-changing ideas across a range of fields including energy, environment, manufacturing and hi-tech designs, and enabling technologies (such as nanotechnology, advanced materials and biotechnologies). The University of NSW launches research seminar series 

The School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE) at the University of NSW is hosting a new research seminar series in 2012. The seminars, which will be presented by SPREE staff, students and visitors, will be held every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month in room G17 of the TETB from 12 – 1 pm. UNSW staff, students and interested members of the public are welcome to attend.
