Keeping Australia at the forefront of solar energy research and development

The Australian Solar Institute (ASI) is a $150 million commitment by the Australian Government to keep Australia at the forefront of solar innovation.

We aim to drive collaborative, focused research and development that will have a major impact on the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of concentrating solar power and solar photovoltaic technologies. We share the results and learnings of our own and our stakeholders’ work for the benefit of the Australian and global solar communities and the Australian public, and champion Australia's leadership strengths in solar research and development.
